Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Machine Operator/Assembler, where you will wind custom transformer coils. Hitran is a family owned and operated business and we have been in business for 60 plus years at this location. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment, and precision tools. You will be responsible for operating a computerized winding machine and ensuring products meet strict quality standards. Employees who are hired and work for Hitran for 6 months in good stature will receive a $1000 signing bonus. Position is for second shift. Employees work 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Operate a computerized winding machine to produce winding coils accurately. Set up and adjust machinery using hand tools to optimize performance and ensure safety compliance. Perform quality inspections using 1/32 measuring tape to verify product specifications meet quality standards. Complete quality paperwork to ensure specifications are adhered to and proper technique is follwed. Assemble parts accurately according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring proper fit and function. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating CNC machines, robotic systems, and press brake machines. Ability to perform precise measurements using measurement (quality control) tools Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine automation control systems. Basic math skills for setting up machines, calculating measurements, and interpreting technical drawings. Must be able to use fractions and decimals. Excellent troubleshooting skills for engineering issues related to machining or industrial equipment failures. Knowledge of safety protocols related to machine operation, industrial equipment troubleshooting, and manufacturing environments.
