This role has growth potential for someone willing to learn and take pride in building precision products for the communications industries. Pay will be adjusted based on skill and experience. This job requires excellent workmanship with small and precise metal components. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components according to assembly procedures and drawings Check your own work to assure correct workmanship rather than relying on QA checks to do so. Examine assemblies under optical microscope or comparator to verify placement Solder assemblies using an oven, or by hand with an iron or torch. Screw and mechanically fasten items and covers. Test and tune filter units as assigned using network analyzer procedures and other test equipment as instructed. Measure and Record required filter parameters Conduct duties in a safe manner using all safety equipment available such as safety glasses, goggles, etc., to avoid injury and follow any other job-related instructions Skills Experience in basic assembly techniques. Experience handling small parts Manual dexterity to produce required parts. High school or equivalent/Basic math. Required to use basic tools such as drivers, pliers, cutters. Able to solder Ability to operate electronic test equipment a plus Willingness to monitor your own work to assure a high quality standard
Pay:
$19.00 - $28.00 per hour
