Mon-Thu 7:00am - 4:30pm Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm Build Your Career With Us! Adecco is partnering with a leading Aerospace components manufacturer in Long Island, NY. We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Hauppauge, NY. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products. What You'll Do Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, work orders, and instructions. Perform fitting, adjustment, testing, and inspection of parts and assemblies. Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and voltmeters . Work with mechanical, hydraulic, optical, and electrical/electronic components. Perform soldering, coil winding, subassembly, and final detailing as needed. Identify quality issues and ensure finished products meet specifications. Help improve production processes through Lean manufacturing initiatives . Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience. Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and technical drawings. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently while following established procedures. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new processes. Pay Details:
