In this position, you will be responsible for fitting and assembling components into sub-assemblies/final assemblies for custom engineered production machines for the tire/rubber industries.

- 4:30pm Monday
- Thursday 6:00am
- 2:30pm
Friday Pay:
$21.00+/hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Complete sub-assembly and/or final assembly of products or components from blueprints, and other instructions Complete disassembly of test-fit products and prep for painting Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete assembly of components or products Align components for assembly and bolts, screws, dowels, welds, or rivets parts together, or arrange for assembly by others Identify faulty components during the assembly process, make adjustments and report them to management Verify alignment and tolerances of moving parts Press bearings, hang housings, push hoses on air cylinders, glue magnets to magpots Assist other departments and functions as needed Minimum Requirements Previous mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Experience using hand and power tools Ability to read and follow blueprints and detailed written and/or verbal instructions to assemble complex machinery Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
