This role involves learning and applying foundational mechanical assembly skills under the supervision of senior team members. The position includes hands-on use of basic tools and supports overall system builds while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Assist with assembling mechanical systems and components by following basic drawings and instructions Utilize hand and power tools to perform cutting, grinding, and other fabrication tasks Support installation of pumps, piping, valves, and tanks under guidance Learn and apply pipe fitting techniques and system layout fundamentals Collaborate with engineering and electrical teams to support system builds Participate in system testing and inspection activities before shipment Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Occasionally travel (up to 15%) to assist with system installations and internal service centers Qualifications Entry-level experience in mechanical assembly or related fields (manufacturing, automotive, etc.) Basic ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and instructions Comfortable using common hand tools and basic power tools Basic welding capability (ability to stitch weld) Willingness to learn fabrication techniques including welding and pipe fitting Basic understanding of mechanical components such as valves, pumps, and fittings is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, working in hot/cold environments, and carrying tools up/down ladders Forklift experience is desirable but not required Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Pay:

$25.00 - $38.00 per hour
