Job Description

Job Overview The Mechanical Assembler II supports the build and installation of custom mechanical systems used in advanced manufacturing environments. This role is suited for individuals with some mechanical experience who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire to develop their skills through hands-on assembly and fabrication tasks. The Mechanical Assembler II works under supervision while contributing independently to system builds and installations. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical systems and components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to complete builds safely and efficiently Support installation of pumps, piping, tanks, valves, and other hardware Perform basic layout and pipe fitting tasks, under supervision Collaborate closely with electrical and engineering teams to ensure proper system integration Assist in functional testing, quality checks, and final inspections of completed systems Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Participate in field installations at customer sites and support internal service centers (up to 15% travel) Qualifications Demonstrated experience with mechanical assemblies, fabrication or related Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints Familiarity with common assembly and fabrication tools and equipment Quality welding capability (ability to weld for structural integrity) Experience with basic pipe fitting or welding is a plus Understanding of mechanical components such as pumps, valves, and pneumatic systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, working in hot/cold environments, and carrying tools up/down ladders Ability to safely use forklift and scissors lift The specific statements shown in each section of this description are not intended to be all-inclusive. Pay:
$25.00 - $31.00 per hour
