An Engine and Machine Fabricator or Assembler constructs, assembles, or rebuilds machines, such as engines, turbines, and similar equipment used in such industries as construction, extraction, textiles, and paper manufacturing.
We are a global manufacturer of custom machines. We have immediate needs on 1st shift for permanent fulltime Machine Builders! We are seeking two experienced Machine Builders / Assemblers to build and assemble custom machinery and industrial equipment. We are hiring for two positions: 1 Mechanical Machine Builder / Assembler 1 Electrical Machine Builder / Assembler Candidates should have hands-on experience building, assembling, wiring, or troubleshooting industrial machinery and be comfortable working from blueprints, engineering drawings, or electrical schematics.
Responsibilities:
Build and assemble custom metal forming machinery and industrial equipment Assemble machine frames and mechanical components including gearboxes, reducers, motors, gear shafts, idler gears, bearings, and related components Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and assembly of machine components Use dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to verify tolerances, alignment, and concentricity Perform electrical assembly and machine wiring, including motors, sensors, switches, control panels, and other electrical components Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams Use a variety of hand tools and power tools during machine assembly Set up, adjust, and test completed machinery to ensure it meets customer specifications and tolerance requirements Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical assembly issues Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as needed Assist with parts handling, inventory control, and maintaining an organized workflow Work closely with engineering and manufacturing personnel throughout the machine build process
Qualifications:
Previous experience building or assembling industrial machinery, automated equipment, metal forming equipment, or similar machinery Mechanical candidates should have experience with gears, shafts, bearings, motors, reducers, precision alignment, and mechanical assembly Electrical candidates should have experience with industrial machine wiring and the ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings Experience using hand and power tools Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude Experience with precision measuring equipment is preferred for mechanical candidates Experience with electrical testing equipment is preferred for electrical candidates Overhead crane and forklift experience is a plus Must be dependable, safety conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team We are looking for skilled, hands-on individuals who take pride in building machinery from the ground up and producing equipment that meets strict quality and performance standards.
Pay:
$24.61 - $33.00 per hour
