Conveyor Systems Assembler / Machine Builder Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking a skilled Assembler / Machine Builder with experience assembling and building conveyor systems and industrial machinery . This position focuses primarily on the mechanical assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of conveyor equipment and related automation systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with industrial machinery or conveyor systems, and the ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics. Welding experience is a plus, but is not required.

Pay:

$20-$32 per hour Conveyor Systems Assembler Job Responsibilities Assemble, build, and install industrial conveyor systems and related machinery according to engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Perform mechanical assembly of conveyor components, equipment, and automation systems. Install, align, adjust, and test conveyor systems and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues during assembly, installation, and testing. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Perform measurements and adjustments to ensure proper alignment and operation of conveyor systems. Identify and resolve mechanical problems using strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Assist with the installation and integration of conveyor and automation equipment. Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure equipment meets specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all required safety procedures and properly utilize PPE. Work effectively with other assemblers, machine builders, technicians, and manufacturing personnel. Manage time effectively to meet production and project deadlines. Perform other duties as assigned. Conveyor Systems Assembler Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Technical or vocational training is a plus. Experience with mechanical assembly, machine building, conveyor systems, or industrial manufacturing preferred. Experience assembling or installing conveyor systems is highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Experience using precision measuring instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds . Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, and lift. Conveyor Systems Assembler Preferred Skills Welding experience is a plus, but not required. Previous experience building, installing, or servicing conveyor systems. Experience with industrial automation or material handling equipment. Technical or vocational training in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial trades. Conveyor Systems Assembler Work Environment Modern manufacturing facility. Industrial shop environment with exposure to machinery and noise. Frequent standing, bending, lifting, reaching, and working around mechanical equipment. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and meeting project requirements.
