Job Summary We are seeking reliable and mechanically inclined Mechanical Assembly / Material Handling Workers to support the assembly of chain conveyor systems and lift cells in a factory environment. Successful candidates will have general mechanical assembly experience, basic hand and power tool knowledge, and the ability to safely handle materials and components. Candidates must be comfortable following written and verbal instructions and working safely in a production environment. Responsibilities Assemble chain conveyor systems and lift cells according to instructions and specifications. Perform general mechanical assembly and material-handling duties. Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Read and follow written work instructions, diagrams, and verbal directions. Safely lift and move materials weighing approximately 40-50 lbs. as needed. Assist with material preparation, staging, and movement throughout the facility. Use wood-cutting tools as needed for crating and packaging activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Operate a forklift when qualified and authorized. Qualifications Previous experience with mechanical assembly, manufacturing, construction, material handling, or a related field preferred. General mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools. Experience using basic hand tools and power tools. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Ability to safely lift and handle 40-50 lbs. as required. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Forklift experience is preferred. Forklift certification is a strong plus. Ability to safely use wood-cutting tools for crating activities is preferred. Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and work around machinery and materials. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing 40-50 lbs. Ability to work in a manufacturing/factory environment. Must be able to safely use required hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
