Job Description

A well-established material handling equipment manufacturer is hiring a Mechanical Assembler - Hydraulic Equipment in Streetsboro, OH to assemble hydraulic lift gates and truck-mounted forklifts. Ideal candidates have manufacturing, assembly, and hand tool experience. Apply today for steady day shift work and benefits starting day one. Duties & Responsibilities Assemble hydraulic lift gates, truck-mounted forklifts, components, and related parts while following standard work instructions. Read parts lists, Bills of Materials, prints, drawings, and work instructions to identify parts and complete assembly steps correctly. Use hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes to assemble and move heavy components safely. Perform quality checks to confirm parts are installed correctly with no missing parts, loose hardware, or defective components. Complete required documentation, checklists, and production updates accurately and on time. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace organization standards.
Requirements Required:
1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read parts lists, Bills of Materials, prints, drawings, and work instructions. Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools in an assembly or production setting. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble parts accurately and follow standard work instructions. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently and perform physical assembly work for extended periods. Ability to complete quality checks, documentation, and checklists while working safely around heavy components and overhead cranes. #BJ1
Compensation:
$20.00/hour starting pay
