Job description Job description This position requires a person with electrical and/or mechanical aptitude and the ability to assemble small mechanical &/or electrical components. The position involves packaging and the assembly of electrical and mechanical parts and assemblies into final products, testing and documenting. Ability to read blueprints/drawings/sketches is a Plus but not a requirement. The ability to follow Directions verbal and/or written is a Must. The ability to work both alone and in a team environment is also a Must. Attention to detail and meticulous assembly is critical to the quality of the products. The qualified candidate must be capable of operating basic hand tools and equipment as necessary to perform assigned tasks. Training will be provided by the company. Basic Qualifications Soldering proficiency is a desired for job but can be trained Ability to routinely lift and carry items weighing 30 lbs. Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively alone & in a team environment. Ability to read and understand verbal and/or written instructions is a Must. Desired skills Previous work experience is a plus/desired but Not a Requirement Electro-mechanical aptitude is a plus Prior experience working with assemblies is strongly desired Good mechanical aptitude including manual dexterity and the ability to use hand tools A self-starter with an ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
