Bethlehem, PA Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (4x10 Schedule) $20 to $26 About the Role We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler with a background in automotive, heavy vehicle, or specialty equipment manufacturing . In this role, you will assemble, wire, and integrate complex electrical and mechanical components into mission-critical vehicles and equipment. This position is ideal for an autonomous technician who thrives in a shop environment and takes pride in precision, quality, and system reliability. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret electrical schematics, wire harness diagrams, mechanical blueprints, and technical specifications. Assemble, fit, and install mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components onto vehicle chassis and sub-assemblies. Route, lay, secure, and terminate wiring harnesses, control panels, switches, and electronic controllers. Perform diagnostic testing and functional troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Use power tools, hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and wire crimping/soldering equipment. Conduct final quality inspections to ensure all assemblies meet strict safety, tolerance, and performance standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve assembly issues and document work performed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive, electrical, or mechanical assembly preferred. 3+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience within automotive, heavy equipment, utility truck, or specialty vehicle industries. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in low-voltage electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical power trains. Hands-on proficiency using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and wire crimping/soldering equipment. High autonomy and time-management skills with the ability to work independently in a manufacturing/shop setting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physical capability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
