Job Duties Assemble mechanical and electrical components into complete compressor systems using drawings and bills of materials. Perform precise alignment, measurement, and electrical/pressure testing. Document work orders via company computer systems and maintain inventory traceability. Execute complex alignment and measurement activities such as backlash calibration and axial play positioning to ensure compliance with technical specs. Connect compressors to testing consoles, operate automated test programs, diagnose issues via fault identification, troubleshoot effectively, and implement corrective actions within set timelines. Perform comprehensive functional and static testing such as oil, air, and water pressure evaluations as well as electrical safety checks including grounding, insulation resistance and full system functional tests. Maintain a clean, hazard-free workstation following 5S and safety standards. Other duties as assigned. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED. Technical voctational training is a strong asset. Experience Requirements 2+ years in mechanical, electrical, or heavy industrial assembly. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and parts lists. Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic tools. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
