Job Title:
Mechanical Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to perform a variety of electrical-mechanical assembly tasks, including the assembly of panel/driver boxes, bezels, consoles, and small structures. You will be responsible for minor testing on electronic systems to ensure the product meets company and manufacturer specifications. Responsibilities Conduct electrical-mechanical assembly work for panel/driver boxes, bezels, consoles, and small structures. Perform minor testing on electronic systems to ensure product functionality. Manufacture electro-mechanical products according to specified work orders, following engineering drawings, schematics, ATPs, manufacturing assembly instructions, and standard operating procedures. Inspect your own work as well as the work of others to maintain quality standards. Operate a variety of hand tools and light manufacturing equipment. Document your work accurately and thoroughly. Essential Skills Proficiency with assembly, hand tools, and power tools. Experience in mechanical assembly and production processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Attention to detail in all aspects of work. Minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with military-grade equipment. Familiarity with control panels for helicopters and airplanes. Capability to work following standard operating procedures. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates on the 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm. You will work in a clean and climate-controlled environment, ensuring comfort and efficiency in your daily tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
