Job Summary:

The Injection Mold Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specified quality and production standards. This role includes machine setup, troubleshooting, inspecting molded parts, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency Load plastic resins and ensure proper material flow to the machine Inspect finished parts for defects, ensuring they meet all quality specifications Document production data such as quantity produced, rejects, and downtime Perform minor machine maintenance and cleaning of molds and machines Follow all safety procedures and company policies Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Assist with mold changes and material changes when required

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing is a plus Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret work instructions and inspection criteria Good attention to detail and quality-focused Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed
