Job Description

1st Shift M-F 6am-230pm Summary Create finished products by assisting with machine operation, manual labor, and maintaining production standards. Essential Functions Actively engaged to meet daily customer demand and production schedule. Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times. Setup and adjust machine settings to meet product specifications. Troubleshoot problems Checks and assures box quality Adhere to production schedule. Reports any unusual scheduling issues to Production Lead. Performs job in a safe, efficient and productive manner, while maximizing the utilization of equipment at available capacity and speed. Train and assist assistant and helper with job duties on the machine. Comply with all company policies and procedures Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment. Follows all company, local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations. Other tasks as assigned. Requirements/Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment Corrugated specific experience a plus Forklift Experience a plus Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Strong written and oral communication. Organization and attention to detail. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Time management. Mathematical and deductive reasoning. Critical thinking. Active learning. For safety and operational efficiency, candidates must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. This includes understanding safety instructions, operating procedures, and workplace signage. Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly on a regular basis. Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day. Bend, stand, squat, twist repeatedly.
