Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc., a leader in high-quality cable carriers and conveyor systems, is seeking a General Assembler for our Tennessee manufacturing operations. In this role, you will assemble mechanical components and cable carrier systems using hand and power tools, following blueprints and work instructions. You'll inspect parts for quality, maintain accurate production records, and support continuous improvement in a team-focused, safety-driven environment that emphasizes innovation and employee development. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components for cable carriers and conveyor systems according to work instructions and blueprints Inspect parts and finished assemblies for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications Use hand and power tools, gauges, and measurement devices safely and correctly Follow standard operating procedures, 5 S, and continuous improvement practices on the production floor Maintain accurate production, materials, and defect records in company systems Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve assembly issues and improve workflows Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with all safety and PPE requirements Required Skills Mechanical assembly Use of hand and power tools Blueprint reading Quality inspection Measurement and gauging Basic mechanical aptitude Use of torque and fastening tools Lean/5 S familiarity Basic computer/data entry Workplace safety compliance
