Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools to meet production specifications. Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents to accurately assemble parts and subassemblies. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure quality control. Read and interpret shop math and technical drawings to determine measurements, tolerances, and assembly sequences. Conduct manual handling of parts and assemblies safely while adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols. Perform soldering tasks when required, ensuring electrical connections meet safety and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow safety procedures diligently, including PPE use, and report any safety concerns immediately. Experience Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of shop math and blueprint reading. Familiarity with the use of calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings or schematics. Knowledge of mechanical systems, machining processes, and the use of hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions for assembly tasks. Experience with precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specified tolerances. Mechanical knowledge related PCR buildings is a plus Demonstrated manual dexterity combined with a commitment to safety practices including PPE use and manual handling procedures.
