Duties Assemble automotive components by following detailed blueprints, schematics, and production documents to ensure precise construction. Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and machining equipment such as CNC lathes to perform mechanical assembly tasks efficiently. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately follow blueprint specifications during assembly processes. Conduct dimensional measurements using calipers and other measuring devices to verify component accuracy and quality control standards. Perform welding and mechanical fitting tasks, ensuring adherence to safety standards in production environments. Engage in heavy lifting and manual handling of parts and assemblies while following proper safety protocols. Inspect finished products for defects or deviations from specifications, utilizing quality control defect detection techniques to maintain high standards. Qualifications Proven experience with blueprint reading, schematics, and interpreting manufacturing documents. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly, machining, or mechanic roles within manufacturing settings. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, calipers, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and strict adherence to safety protocol procedures. Experience with welding, mechanical assembly, CNC lathe operation, or machining is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently over extended periods.
