Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems with precision, ensuring that products meet quality standards and safety protocols. Your expertise will contribute to efficient production processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and the delivery of high-quality equipment to our clients. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical parts and systems using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments according to technical drawings and production documents. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions accurately to ensure correct component placement and assembly sequences. Operate forklifts and other factory equipment safely to transport materials within the manufacturing facility. Conduct quality checks on assembled components, utilizing measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Follow safety standards in production, adhering to safety protocols for manual handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation. Participate in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements for lean manufacturing practices. Manage assembly line tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Requirements Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of mechanical assembly processes. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings. Experience operating forklifts and other factory equipment safely (certification preferred). Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including manual handling and heavy lifting techniques. Ability to read production documents and technical schematics accurately. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
