Multiple positions at Level I and Level II Position Overview We are hiring Mechanical Assemblers at multiple experience levels to assemble, test, inspect, and package oil and gas valves, chemical injection pumps, and related equipment. Level I opportunities are available for candidates with foundational mechanical or manufacturing skills. Level II opportunities are intended for experienced assemblers with oil and gas equipment, testing, quality, ERP, and production-support experience. Assembly training, new-hire orientation, and on-the-job process and product training will be provided.

Compensation Level I Mechanical Assembler:

$18.00-$21.00 per hour

Level II Mechanical Assembler:

$21.00-$25.00 per hour Final pay will be based on relevant assembly, testing, product, and ERP experience. Primary Responsibilities Read and follow work instructions, work orders, production drawings, schematics, engineering specifications, and sample assemblies. Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools, power tools, presses, machines, and assembly equipment. Assemble, test, inspect, and package oil and gas valves, chemical injection pumps, and related products. Set up and operate product-testing equipment safely. Configure test stands for pneumatic and hydrostatic testing according to product specifications. Measure and record product conformance to assembly and test requirements. Complete test reports, inspection records, and other required production documentation. Inspect and document materials, components, subassemblies, specifications, and heat numbers. Mark heat numbers and product nameplates accurately. Occasionally disassemble, troubleshoot, and repair returned products. Meet established production, quality, and TAKT-time standards. Participate in Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation. Immediately report unsafe acts, equipment, or working conditions. Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures. Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, uniforms, and other assigned PPE. Maintain dependable attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct. Additional Level II Responsibilities Assist with training, orienting, and checking the work of less-experienced assemblers. Monitor production activities and identify deviations from standard work. Track shift performance using GEMBA boards and help conduct root-cause analysis. Identify and implement corrective actions and countermeasures. Complete Non-Conformance Reports and related inventory transactions. Complete and report problem reports and Engineering Change Notice documentation. Prepare, maintain, and use test stations for factory and system acceptance testing. Perform layered process, product-quality, and roving quality audits. Maintain accurate inventory movement, production reporting, work-in-process transactions, and material records. Use Oracle to complete work orders, inventory transactions, material requirements, supply-and-demand reviews, and related production tasks. Coordinate with other departments to support safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals. Level I Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing assembly. Experience using hand tools, power tools, presses, or assembly equipment. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of material. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work quickly and accurately while meeting quality and productivity standards. Ability to use a computer or production workstation. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn product assembly and testing procedures. Level II Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least three years of related manufacturing assembly and testing experience. Experience assembling or testing products such as relief valves, chemical injection pumps, control valves, dump valves, check valves, butterfly valves, liquid-level controllers, or switches. Ability to complete mechanical assemblies, equipment setups, testing, documentation, and quality inspections with limited supervision. Experience using torque wrenches and product-testing equipment. Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems. Proficiency using Oracle for work orders, work-in-process transactions, inventory activity, and material management. Ability to identify and correct production or assembly-process issues. Ability to train and support less-experienced assemblers. Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement practices. Windchill experience is preferred. Experience completing NCR, problem-report, ECN, or quality-audit documentation is preferred. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Climate-controlled manufacturing and warehouse environment. Work is primarily performed at a standing workstation. Frequent use of hand tools, power tools, machines, testing equipment, and material-handling equipment. The position may involve physically strenuous work. Employees must wear required PPE throughout the workday. Daily overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.
