OBJECTIVE
A mechanical assembler puts together or fabricates components for machines or mechanical products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Review job tickets and pull necessary parts for assembly. Verify materials and set up assembly process. Assemble parts to blueprint process specs using hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe manner. Ability to lift more than 50 lbs without assistance Work in other areas or departments as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
Use of calipers, micrometers, etc. Mechanical aptitude Mechanical training Use of basic power tools Able to read blueprints
