The candidate will be comfortable doing whatever needs to be done to make the manufacturing process run efficiently. The Electro-Mechanical Assembler (Assembler) works with production assembly instructions, parts lists, drawings and verbal instructions to assemble products. 1. Responsibilities Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in a fixture or other holding device Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, press fits or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases Operate easy-to-use equipment including test or programming tools Performs go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards Connects component lead wires to printed circuit boards or routes and connects wires between other components, connectors, terminals and contact points Works at different workbenches as production needs require Essential physical requirements necessary to do this job 2. Qualifications Ability to read and comprehend work instructions Ability to write notes and log information Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions Installation of hardware (screws, nuts, etc.) using handheld tools Experience building and testing cables is a plus. 3. Education High School Diploma preferred but not required 4. Schedule Monday - Friday Day Shift (8 hrs)
