A Premier Manufacturer in Salt Lake City is expanding operations and has immediate openings for skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technicians. This is your opportunity to build custom, high-consequence leak testing and vacuum systems utilized by global giants in the aerospace, medical, and advanced technology sectors. Every single system is unique, meaning your technical craftsmanship and problem-solving skills will be engaged every day. Supported by a strong work/life balance culture, this role features highly enviable perks including 3 weeks of PTO and a 9/80 schedule -giving you every other Friday completely off!
Responsibilities:
Assemble complex electro-mechanical systems, including control panels, wiring harnesses, and mechanical assemblies. Perform precise point-to-point wiring utilizing schematics, wiring diagrams, and build documentation. Install vital electrical components such as relays, sensors, power supplies, and control hardware. Support system testing, troubleshooting, and validation processes. Utilize hand tools, crimpers, measurement tools, and diagnostic equipment (such as multimeters). Collaborate directly with engineering and production teams to resolve real-time build issues. Maintain clean, organized workspaces while rigorously adhering to quality standards and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Working hours:
7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Direct experience working within automated manufacturing, aerospace, or advanced equipment build environments. Foundational knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems or functional testing procedures. Familiarity with ISO standards or structured quality control processes. Basic computer proficiency (experience with ERP software or Microsoft Office is a major plus).
Education:
High School/GED Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of electro-mechanical assembly, panel building, or wiring experience. Proven ability to accurately read and execute builds from complex schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions. Exceptional attention to detail with a demonstrable pride in quality workmanship.
