Looking for an opportunity to get into machine operation and pipe fabrication? We are hiring an Entry-Level Pipe Fabrication / Machine Operator in Ashland, VA.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with training available on specialized pipe fabrication equipment. If you have at least 6-8 months of recent machine, mechanical, automotive, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience, this could be a great next step.

What Youll Do

Operate band saws and pipe fabrication machinery.

Measure and cut pipe using a tape measure and gauges.

Assist with threading, beveling, cutting, and preparing pipe.

Move and organize pipe throughout the shop and yard.

Perform basic quality checks.

Operate material-handling equipment as trained.

Follow all safety and production procedures.

What Were Looking For

6-8 months of recent machine or mechanical experience.

Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills.

Reliable work history and good attendance.

High school diploma or GED.

Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment that can get hot.

Able to wear required steel-toe shoes or boots.

Experience with band saws, machinery, automotive repair, diesel equipment, farm equipment, maintenance, manufacturing, or fabrication is a plus.

Pay Details:

$19.00 per hour
