Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling large mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings, using measuring instruments, and handling various tools will be essential to your success. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes within a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Assemble large mechanical parts and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and production documents Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to verify component dimensions and tolerances Interpret technical drawings and mechanical blueprints to ensure accurate assembly procedures Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools safely and effectively Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and visual inspections throughout the assembly process Follow safety protocols by properly utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during assembly and collaborate with team members to resolve problems efficiently Requirements Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and machining principles Ability and willingness to operate overhead crane as needed Ability to interpret technical drawings and production documents accurately Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment Basic shop math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations Knowledge of safety procedures including proper PPE use and manual handling techniques Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes, soldering (nice-to-have), and use of mechanical blueprints Join our team if you're eager to develop your skills in a vibrant manufacturing setting where quality, safety, and innovation are at the forefront.
