The Mechanical Assembler III is an advanced-level technician responsible for assembling complex mechanical systems and subassemblies. This role requires the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, take ownership of complete builds, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and support installations with minimal supervision. The Mechanical Assembler III works independently, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and ensures systems meet quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble complex mechanical systems and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and technical documentation
Support the mechanical assembly function during field installations and customer site support
Fabricate and install piping, valves, tanks, pumps, and structural supports u
Perform MIG/TIG welding and grinding as necessary to support system fabrication
Interpret and troubleshoot mechanical systems, resolving build issues independently
Coordinate with electrical and controls teams to ensure complete mechanical integration
Conduct functional testing and perform final quality inspections
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocol
Required Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated years of mechanical assembly, fabrication, or related technical experience
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints, P&IDs, and schematics
Skilled welding capabilities (ability to weld for overhead lifting)
Experienced in pipe fitting, pumps, pneumatic systems, and hydraulics
Excellent problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and positive attitude
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and managing deadlines
Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, working in hot/cold environments, and carrying tools up/down ladders
Ability to safely use forklift, scissors lift, and cranes
