IQ Resource Group is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a full-time opportunity in Neenah, WI , with starting pay between $19-$21/hour. Position Overview:
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling conveyors and related mechanical equipment according to project requirements and instructions. You'll work closely with a Team Leader and other members of the manufacturing team to complete assigned projects safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Assemble custom conveyor systems and related mechanical equipment. Work closely with a Team Leader on assigned assembly projects. Use hand tools and power tools to complete mechanical assembly work. Read and accurately use a tape measure. Follow instructions and project requirements to complete assigned work. Work as part of a team to identify and solve problems during the assembly process. Adapt to changing project needs and work at a steady pace to meet production goals. Maintain a safe and organized work area. Build mechanical assembly skills and product knowledge through hands-on training and experience.
Job Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude and an interest in hands-on mechanical work. Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, with frequent bending and occasional use of a short ladder. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Ability to read blueprints preferred
Education:
