Job Description
STL Staffing is hiring a Mid-Level Mechanical Assembler for a direct-hire opportunity in Neenah, building custom conveyors and product-handling equipment. Schedule is 6 a.m.- 4 p.m., Monday-Thursday (4-day, 10-hour shifts). This is not an entry-level role; you'll work independently from blueprints alongside a Mechanical Assembly Lead and one to two entry-level assemblers. What you'll do Assemble custom conveyors and related mechanical equipment from blueprints. Use hand tools, power tools, and fixtures safely and accurately. Measure components with a tape measure to confirm fit and placement. Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Work independently and as part of a team to hit schedule and quality targets. What we're looking for Required 3-5 years of experience in conveyor manufacturing or a related industry (packaging equipment, heavy trucks, OEM manufacturing). Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience. Ability to read blueprints and accurately read a tape measure. Ability to stand, bend, and occasionally climb a short ladder for a full shift. Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay and schedule $23-$27 an hour. Direct hire. 6 a.m.- 4 p.m., Monday-Thursday.
