Overview We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with various measuring instruments and hand tools. Duties Assemble mechanical parts and components according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and production documents Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to verify dimensions Interpret technical drawings and mechanical blueprints accurately to ensure correct assembly procedures Operate power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools safely and effectively during assembly processes Conduct quality checks using shop math and measurement instruments to confirm proper fit and function Handle manual tasks including soldering, machining, and the use of hand tools while maintaining safety protocols Follow safety guidelines by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) during all assembly activities Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship Requirements Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in shop math and manufacturing processes Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment Knowledge of soldering techniques and machining processes is a plus Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety and precision Ability to interpret technical documentation related to mechanical blueprint interpretation and assembly procedures Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude towards safety practices and quality assurance.
