Job Title:
Mechanical Assembler Job Description As a Mechanical Assembler, you will work from drawings, blueprints, and verbal instructions to perform basic skilled building, welding, fitting, aligning, and adjusting of subassemblies. You will ensure the highest level of quality while meeting job schedules, estimated hours, and customer specifications. Responsibilities Identify and locate correct materials from blueprints to pull from stock, skids of fabrication, job baskets, and/or pallet racks. Assist in producing, teaching, and enforcing standard company build procedures. Provide direction to and assist in the training of new hires at or below 'B' Assembler level as instructed. Organize and participate in the prepping and unmasking of sub-assemblies and equipment before and after the painting process. Build crates, package products, and load equipment on trucks for shipment. Collaborate with other departments to ensure products are completed on time. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Maintain department housekeeping standards and ensure a clean, safe working environment. Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures, recommending improvements as appropriate. Provide back-up support to other roles within the department as required. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work a 1st shift schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with four 10-hour days, including a paid one-hour break. There are great opportunities for overtime. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Oconomowoc, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $66600.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
