Machine Operator (Process Technician) - Kearny Mesa! 1st shift- $18.00/hour, Contract-to-hire Job Description We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to operate and set up automatic process equipment within a microelectronic cleanroom manufacturing environment. The role involves reading drawings and diagrams, performing set-ups for various products, conducting first article inspections, and troubleshooting machine errors to ensure quality products. This position supports other manufacturing duties and requires excellent computer skills. Responsibilities Set up and operate automatic process equipment. Basic troubleshooting of process equipment Perform microscope inspections for 1-3 hours intermittently throughout the day. Conduct computer data entry for 1-2 hours a day. Assemble parts as part of routine operations. Perform heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs, 3-4 times per hour. Essential Skills 1-2 years of experience in equipment operation, ideally with automated production equipment. Proficiency in process equipment operation and set-up. Ability to perform inspections and troubleshoot automated production equipment. High school diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical aptitude.
