Job Summary:
The SMT Operator I is responsible for set-up, operation and maintenance of equipment in support of Printed Circuit Board Assembly processes and procedures for Mack Technologies Florida, Inc. Reports to the Operations Manager. Here's what you'll get:
Pay:
$17.00•$19.00 Hourly + 10% shift differential for 2nd shift
Schedule:
1 st Shift (7:00 AM•3:30 PM) 2 nd Shift (3:30 PM•11:30 PM)
Length:
Temp to direct. Here's what you'd do: The SMT Operator I is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment to support the client's Printed Circuit Board Assembly processes and procedures. Reports to the Operations Manager. Set up, operate, and maintain screen printers, glue machines, reflow ovens, SMT placement machines, stencil cleaners, conveyors, and other equipment used in the assembly of Printed Circuit Boards. Ensure the daily build plan is met in accordance with the production planner's requirements. Interface with complex machine hardware and software. Identify and report defective components. Control, document, and process non-conforming material. Perform minor machine adjustments as needed. Inspect own work to ensure accuracy and integrity of work performed. Participate in the development of new product introduction (NPI) by assisting in creating, debugging, and setting up programs; and train new operators to perform NPI as needed. Ensure product meets established workmanship standards. Follow written and verbal instructions and maintain data logs. Responsible for the cleanliness of the work area and the surrounding workspace. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferably electronic manufacturing) Minimum 1 year of experience in SMT equipment operation Preferred Skills /
Qualifications:
Experience with NPI.
IPC-A-610
Certified. ESD Training. Knowledge of component identification and nomenclature. Knowledge of component handling, including ESD requirements. Basic computer skills, problem-solving, and workstation skills. Good organizational skills. Capable of performing job functions utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions, and visual aids. Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment. Ability to prioritize and organize workload to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC-610 requirements. Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary. Attention to detail.
