Job Description

Embroidery & Apparel Production Specialist Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:30 PM We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to join our embroidery and apparel production team. No embroidery experience is required. We will train the right person. This position combines hands-on apparel production and customer service. You will help create custom embroidered products while also helping customers place orders, choose products and colors, and determine what will work best for their needs. This is not a heavy-equipment or industrial machinery position. What You'll DoEmbroidery & Production Prepare hats, shirts, sweatshirts, patches, bags, and other items for embroidery Hoop and position garments correctly Load designs and select the correct thread colors Set up and operate commercial embroidery machines Monitor machines while designs are stitching Change thread, bobbins, needles, and supplies as needed Trim and finish completed products Check designs, spelling, colors, placement, and quantities for accuracy Troubleshoot common embroidery issues Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized Help keep multiple customer orders organized and moving through production Customer Service Customer service is a regular part of this position.
You will:
Help customers in person and over the phone Respond to customer questions and orders through email and our Etsy shops Help customers choose shirts, hats, garment colors, thread colors, and other options Offer suggestions about what will look good and what may not work well for a particular design or product Gather accurate information for custom orders Clearly communicate order details to other team members Occasionally help at the front counter with checkout and taking payments We work with customers in several ways — in person, by phone, through email, through Etsy, and sometimes even through the mail. What We're Looking For Embroidery experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are more interested in finding someone who: Is dependable and punctual Has excellent attention to detail Has good customer service and communication skills Is comfortable talking with and helping customers Can follow detailed instructions Is organized and able to keep track of multiple orders Is comfortable using computers and learning new equipment Can recognize differences in spelling, colors, designs, and placement Enjoys hands-on work Can problem-solve when something doesn't look or work correctly Works well independently and with a team Is willing to learn and improve Experience with embroidery, sewing, alterations, apparel production, screen printing, crafting, retail, or customer service is a plus. Schedule Full-Time - 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Dependable attendance is important. Employees are expected to be ready to work at 9:00 AM and available through the end of their scheduled shift at 5:30 PM. Personal phone use should be limited to scheduled breaks except for important or urgent matters. Pay & Training Pay is based on experience. Candidates with relevant embroidery, sewing, apparel production, or similar experience may qualify for a higher starting rate. There is a 90-day evaluation period. Previous commercial embroidery experience is not required. We provide hands-on training for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with customers, and genuinely willing to learn.
