THE OPPORTUNITY

Nesting Role Description

• involve placing and arranging two-dimensional part shapes inside a raw material sheet to reduce waste

WHAT YOU WILL DO



Software Layout:

Arranging digital part shapes closely together on a screen to save metal. 

Path Optimization:

Setting the order of cuts so the machine moves quickly and safely. 

Material Management:

Choosing the right sheet size and thickness for the parts. 

File Preparation:

Converting layouts into machine code (G-code) that CNC cutters can read. Pay/Benefits 35k starting Salary or an equivalent hourly pay depending on work schedule Personal Time Off (PTO)

• Accrue up to 2 weeks after six months. Eligible to accrue an additional day (8 hours) of PTO per year, starting in year 6. Up to a total of 15 of Days of PTO (3 weeks)
• Minimum of 7 Company Paid Holiday plus additional days as the company determines.
• 40 Hours Sick Days with doctors' notes immediately upon employment.
• Eligible to contribute to 401K or Simple IRA after 1 year with company (Company matches up to 3%) precision, and continuous improvement!

Pay:

From $35,000.00 per year
