The Headwear Trimmer is the person that is responsible for ensuring excellent quality and meeting company production standards.
SCHEDULE
  • 7:00 am
  • 3:30 pm Monday
  • Friday with Overtime (Saturday 7am
  • noon) as required
LOCATION
  • 270 Samuel Barnet Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745 DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Trim and remove excess threads and Pellon.
Attach hang tags and UPC stickers. Ensure excellent quality. Bagging and packing the final product. Tie on threads. Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to read instructions in English. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must possess initiative, energy, and drive. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED. Manufacturing experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to use hands, fingers, and arms. Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills. Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch. Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposure to moderate noise level.
VISION REQUIREMENT
Close and distance vision. Color vision.
