Full Job Description Position Overview:
Program and operate SMT machine to properly pick, place, and solder electronic components onto printed circuit board assemblies. To proactively perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenances to achieve on-time customer delivery performance with zero defects while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
Job Function:
Program and run Mycronic pick and place machines Program and run Mycronic Jet Printer Ability to program and set reflow oven Setup and operate assigned production equipment while achieving goals for quality, efficiency, and productivity Monitor the operation of equipment to ensure that assemblies are built to print and in compliance with applicable workmanship standards Inspect printed solder paste and component alignment for accuracy Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard and class Perform manual placement of SMT and PIH components when needed Load feeders for equipment and wash boards as needed Electrical testing of assemblies as required Inspect product using microscope, halo light, and X-Ray as required Stenciling and screening of PCBs as required Troubleshooting the pick and place machine when issues occur
Skills Required:
Attention to details. Mycronic training / machine skills is a plus Computer skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, small print, and work instructions Knowledge of 3D X-Ray is a plus Component identification skills Recognize and identify the different types of solder paste and their applications Knowledge of
IPC-A-610
specification.
Schedule:
Day Shift (Monday - Thursday) 4-10-hour days
