Job Description
Lifetime Engraving, a personalization and promotional products company in Lakewood, NJ, is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our production team as an Engraver. Prior engraving experience is not required. We provide hands-on training on our equipment, software, production procedures, and quality standards. Candidates should have strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn technical equipment quickly. Our engravers work with names, messages, logos, and artwork on a wide variety of products. The position combines computer work, hands-on production, quality control, and creative layout work. We use laser engraving, rotary engraving, sandblasting, embroidery, debossing, and other personalization processes. This position will initially focus primarily on laser and rotary engraving, with opportunities to learn additional equipment. Responsibilities Set up and operate engraving equipment after training Personalize products with names, messages, logos, and artwork Prepare and adjust layouts using CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, or similar software Accurately enter and verify personalization information Inspect products and completed work for defects, spelling, placement, and quality Organize orders and merchandise throughout production Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance Follow production procedures and help meet daily deadlines Requirements Strong computer skills Familiarity with CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar graphics software Strong attention to detail and proofreading ability Accurate data-entry skills Ability to follow instructions and learn new equipment Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy Dependable, organized, and proficient in reading and writing English Helpful Experience Experience with engraving, manufacturing, machine operation, graphic design, 3D printing, quality control, or production-based data entry is a plus, but not required.
