This role involves operating and maintaining plasma cutting equipment to produce precise metal components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing the plasma table, ensuring high-quality cuts, and maintaining a clean work environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic production setting. Responsibilities Operate the plasma cutting table to accurately cut metal parts according to specifications and blueprints. Set up and calibrate the plasma machine for each job, ensuring optimal performance. Monitor the cutting process to maintain quality and precision throughout production runs. Clean parts after they are cut out of the Laser/Plasma machine, removing any debris or slag to prepare them for finishing or assembly. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on the plasma equipment to ensure proper operation. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in loading raw materials onto the plasma table and unloading finished parts as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards. Skills Experience operating plasma cutting tables or similar CNC machinery is preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision in cutting processes. Good manual dexterity and ability to handle metal parts safely. Basic understanding of machine maintenance and safety procedures related to plasma cutting equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on cleanliness and safety compliance.
