POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Machine Lead, deburr and detail finished machined parts to ensure finish and all blueprint requirements are met.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
:- Operate various hand and power tools to achieve print requirements of all finished machine parts that flow through machining detail.
- Review work orders and blueprints to obtain part specifications.
- Perform inspection to ensure all products meet requirements before part moves to the next process.
- Set up tooling fixtures to be processed.
- Hand or machine polish finishes to meet requirements.
- Install various pieces of hardware as required by drawing specifications.
EXPERIENCE
- GED or High School diploma required.
- One to two years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferably related to sheet metal and machining, including planning, inventory control and shipping/receiving is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read and follow schematics or blueprints.
- Ability to multi-task.
CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Position requires basic reading, writing and communication skills.
- Candidate must have basic to intermediate math skills.
- Able to work under critical timelines.
- Able to use basic hand/power/pneumatic tools.
