POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Machine Lead, deburr and detail finished machined parts to ensure finish and all blueprint requirements are met.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

:

• Operate various hand and power tools to achieve print requirements of all finished machine parts that flow through machining detail.
• Review work orders and blueprints to obtain part specifications.
• Perform inspection to ensure all products meet requirements before part moves to the next process.
• Set up tooling fixtures to be processed.
• Hand or machine polish finishes to meet requirements.
• Install various pieces of hardware as required by drawing specifications.

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

• GED or High School diploma required.
• One to two years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferably related to sheet metal and machining, including planning, inventory control and shipping/receiving is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and follow schematics or blueprints.
• Ability to multi-task.

CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Position requires basic reading, writing and communication skills.
• Candidate must have basic to intermediate math skills.
• Able to work under critical timelines.
• Able to use basic hand/power/pneumatic tools.
