CraftOptics, maker of magnifying eyeglasses and lights for artists, is located in the near east side of Madison. We are looking for a part time light optical assembly and shipping person to join our team. The position is ideal for a detail oriented person looking for flexible part time hours. This is not a remote position. This is not a warehouse position.

Tasks include:

Meticulous inspection, assembly, alignment and packaging of our eyewear & lights Shipping, including printing shipping labels, tracking shipments Inspection of all incoming components Organization of assembly area Supply inventory / inventory counting Optician experience a plus but not required Assist our customer service/optician as needed Estimated 5-10 hours per week, days can vary

IMPORTANT

Must be very particular and detail oriented, as precision optics are being assembled. Must be able to work independently in a small office environment with minimal instruction once training has occurred. Ideal for an optician seeking some additional hours.
