Powder Coat Delivery Driver, Shop Helper

Tach Industries is looking to expand the team with an experienced coater as well as some helpers interested in growing within the company. The driving position will be hauling a 24ft gooseneck in town for local deliveries along with shop help since we do not have a full schedule of deliveries. This is the opportunity for someone looking to get into a new trade and learn the ins and outs of powdercoating. The coater is expected to be able to spray anything from custom candies to our basic textured blacks. We spray a variety of products ranging from one off custom projects to large production runs. SUMMARY Individual will be responsible for the powder coating process. Material preparation such as sand blasting, cleaning, and masking will not be the coater's main responsibility but may be expected to help in any of these areas throughout the day.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(include the following, however, other duties may apply.) Prepare parts for coating Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently, and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout facility Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment Load and unload parts or product onto racks Good knowledge of the mechanics and repair of Gema powder guns Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Strong background in powder coating preffered Strong attention to detail Able to work in a fast pace environment Demonstrate ability to work independently without daily supervision EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques. High school diploma or GED preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written. Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to move or transfer products with a forklift. Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
