Full Job Description Job Summary:

Our company is looking for Shop Helper / Pre-Fab, where you will play a vital role in the development of high-end automotive on /off road exhaust manufacturing. Our central North Phoenix warehouse and sales office, conveniently situated off I-17, is equipped with many of the tools needed to build the best exhaust products available today. This paid position starts at $17.50 per hour and is perfect ONLY for motivated individuals eager to learn and develop a skill in metal fabrication. Pay and bonuses are merit based. How quickly you get a raise from that starting wage is up to you. You will be working with sheet metal equipment, power tools, and various hand tools to assist in the preparation and organization of components. If you are a motivated individual and have a desire to work, we like to promote from within our own company. This can be an opportunity to learn a trade while you work. Most of the team has worked together between 8-15 years. Do not reply if you do not understand the definition of what work means. Some people completely understand what work means and others "feel" they know what work means.

Requirements:

Previous experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments is preferred but a desire to learn how to make things with your hands is a great substitute. Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level of understanding that enables the following and transmission of oral and written instructions. Strong attention to detailed instructions and an organized mindset. Ability to read a tape measure Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other processes. Ask questions if needed and retain information. Basic understanding of fabrication techniques is advantageous. Comfortable handling raw materials manually or with machinery in a fast-paced setting Physical stamina to stand for extended periods. Duties Include:

Keep your work area clean and tidy. Prep. parts for the Fabricators. Cut pre bent and straight tubing to size. Apply a brushed finish to stainless tubing. De burr parts using air tools. Sweep and mop shop floor. Safely use plasma cutter. Safely use spot welder. Help organize inventory. Wash pre bent parts.
