Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Metal Polisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing metal components to achieve the highest quality standards. Your expertise will ensure that all metal parts meet precise specifications, exhibit excellent surface finishes, and adhere to safety and quality protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to the production of premium metal products in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Duties Operate polishing equipment and hand tools to smooth and finish metal surfaces, ensuring a flawless appearance Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to understand required finishes and specifications Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and surface quality Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to uphold safety standards in production environments Troubleshoot industrial equipment including polishing machines, CNC machining tools, and fabrication machinery as needed Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure proper handling of materials and adherence to quality control procedures Perform routine inspections of finished products using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for accuracy Qualifications Proven experience in metal finishing, polishing, or related manufacturing roles within a factory setting Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machine operation such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and CAM programming Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Skilled in the use of hand tools, precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers), and shop math for quality assessments Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and proper handling of industrial equipment Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks is a plus for understanding fabrication processes Familiarity with materials handling, tooling setup, welding basics, and packaging processes is advantageous Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues efficiently Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision measurement and quality assurance Join our team as a Metal Polisher if you thrive on craftsmanship excellence and are eager to contribute your expertise toward producing top-tier metal components.
