Depending on Experience (DOE) Nor Cal Granite & Tile is a family-owned and operated stone fabrication and installation company serving Northern California. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Stone Fabricator / Shop Hand & Installer . This is a hands-on position that includes working in our Cottonwood fabrication shop as well as traveling with our crew to residential and commercial installation sites. Stone fabrication, countertop, tile, or construction experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and is willing to learn. Responsibilities Fabricate granite, quartz, quartzite, marble, and other stone materials Grind, polish, finish, and prepare stone for installation Assist with countertop fabrication and shop production Load and unload slabs, countertops, tools, and materials Assist with residential and commercial countertop installations Carry, position, and set countertops, backsplashes, sinks, and related materials Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Maintain a clean and organized shop and work area Properly use required PPE and follow company safety procedures Assist other fabricators and installers as needed Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding position .

Applicants must be able to:

Regularly lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver heavy stone and countertop materials with assistance from team members and/or appropriate equipment Safely handle large, heavy, and awkward countertop pieces as part of a crew Stand and walk for extended periods Frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach, and work in different positions Perform repetitive fabrication and installation tasks Work in a fabrication shop and on active construction/job sites Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and temperature conditions Safely wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Reasonable accommodations will be considered for qualified individuals in accordance with applicable law. Travel & Transportation Position is based at our Cottonwood, CA shop Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from the shop Installation crews regularly travel to job sites throughout Northern California Company vehicles are generally used when traveling from the shop to installation sites as part of a crew Some projects may require early morning departures, longer drive times, or extended workdays Occasional out-of-area or overnight travel may be required depending on the project A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are preferred for employees who may operate company vehicles Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and able to show up ready to work Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Able to work effectively as part of a team Comfortable with physically demanding work Able to follow directions and safety procedures Experience with stone fabrication, countertops, construction, tile, or similar trades is preferred but not required Experience using hand and power tools is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and wants to learn and grow in the stone fabrication trade. Pay:
