A Finisher, Polisher, or Buffer cleans, sands and polishes materials such as wood, stone, plastic, or metal used in manufacturing processes. Performs finishing and polishing done at the final stages of production to prepare goods for consumers.
Our client, a leader in manufacturing and metalworking industries, is seeking a Grinder to join their team. As a Grinder, you will be part of the production department supporting the finishing and defect removal processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

4am - 2:30pm (Monday - Friday, OT on Saturdays) What's the Job? Utilize large swing grinders and small hand grinders to condition parts for defect removal Examine and feel surfaces of workpieces for defects and irregularities Remove defects, sharp edges, and excess weld material to ensure quality standards Select appropriate abrasive belts, wheels, or disks based on specifications and material condition Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all safety policies and procedures What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent Six to twelve months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to operate grinders safely and efficiently Attention to detail and quality consciousness Physical ability to perform grinding tasks; physical not required but drug test is necessary What's in it for me?
