Job Description

A local client is looking to hire a detail-oriented Cleanroom Technician to join their manufacturing team in Hayward, CA. This role is responsible for cleaning, assembling, testing, packaging, and preparing customer parts according to established specifications, work instructions, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and precision. Essential Responsibilities Cleanroom Operations Perform bake-out processes for customer parts requiring drying after wet cleaning. Conduct physical cleaning of parts, including the use of IPA wipes when required. Assemble, test, clean, mark, and package customer products according to customer specifications, travelers, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Ensure all parts are properly protected, sealed, and packaged for shipment on a daily basis. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through routine housekeeping activities. Follow all quality, safety, and cleanroom procedures. Materials Handled Parts processed within the cleanroom may include: Stainless Steel Aluminum Copper Quartz Ceramic Titanium Bronze Anodized Aluminum Nickel Other precision-manufactured components Qualifications Required Ability to follow detailed and complex instructions. Basic computer skills and ability to use a cell phone for data recording and communication. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Preferred Previous manufacturing, production, cleanroom, or semiconductor industry experience. Experience handling, cleaning, packaging, or inspecting metal components. Familiarity with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, nickel, and anodized metals. Experience following work instructions, SOPs, or quality-controlled manufacturing processes. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods during an 8-hour shift. Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods, including: Cleanroom garments Cleanroom boots and coveralls Head coverings Safety glasses Hearing protection Ability to lift, move, and handle components safely as required.
