POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, the Blaster is responsible for cleaning, preparing, and finishing metal or other surfaces using abrasive blasting equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate sandblasting and abrasive blasting equipment to clean, smooth, or prepare surfaces. Perform routine maintenances and cleaning of blasting equipment. Visually inspect completed work to ensure surfaces meet required finish standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Adheres to safety regulations. Follow all safety protocols including use of
PPE. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to follow work instructions. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual quality inspections.
ITAR REQUIREMENT
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sitting/Standing for prolonged periods of time Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Comfortable working in protective gear. Good hand and eye coordination and movement.
