Marketside Equipment is looking for a dependable, hardworking Painter's Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on position assisting with the preparation and painting of heavy equipment and machinery. Job Responsibilities Assist with preparing equipment for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, prepping surfaces and occasionally pressure washing. Assist the painter with paint application and finishing as needed Help move, position, and prepare equipment throughout the shop and yard Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and instructions Pay close attention to detail to ensure quality work Perform other general shop duties as needed Requirements Dependable and willing to work as part of a team Detail-oriented with pride in the quality of your work Comfortable working around heavy equipment Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods Must be comfortable working at heights Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed Previous painting, bodywork, equipment, or shop experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, takes direction well, and pays attention to the details. Pay:

$17.50 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
