In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing metal framing, drywall, and related materials to create sturdy, aesthetically pleasing structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to residential remodels, utilizing your skills in metal building erection, drywall installation, and finishing techniques. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life while ensuring safety and quality standards are met every step of the way. Responsibilities Erect metal framing systems including steel studs, track, and other structural components according to construction plans and schematics Hang drywall panels accurately on walls and ceilings using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening Finish drywall surfaces with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve smooth, professional results Install additional materials such as stucco, siding, or plaster as required for specific projects Read blueprints and technical drawings to interpret dimensions and specifications for framing and finishing tasks Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install framing members or drywall components Perform rebar installation for concrete forming when necessary and assist with masonry or roofing tasks as part of broader construction efforts Conduct quality inspections throughout the project to ensure adherence to safety standards and craftsmanship excellence Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople to coordinate workflow efficiently Requirements Proven experience in metal building erection, drywall hanging/finishing, or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction plans and schematics Skilled in using hand tools such as tape measures, levels, screw guns, saws, and other power tools essential for framing and finishing work Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise measurements and installation procedures Knowledge of construction safety protocols including heavy lifting techniques and proper equipment operation Familiarity with blueprint reading, dimensional measurements, trim carpentry, and basic math skills for accurate project execution Experience working on construction sites with a focus on drywall installation, stucco application, siding work or remodeling projects preferred Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces safely Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively across trades Join us in creating exceptional structures that stand the test of time!
